Sanlitun Area

Whether you love it for its nightlife, its eclectic mix of restaurants from all over the world or plainly for being the unofficial heart of the city, there is no denying the gravitating effect Gongtibeilu has on the capitals expat community. Personally I think nothing really beats a night of international dining in the Sanlitun Village followed by a night of revelling in the bars and clubs of Sanlitun and Gongti.

For a first class location, right in the center of the arguably liveliest district in Beijing, I warmly recommend the Shimao Gongsan serviced apartments complex on Gongti Beilu.

CBD Area

Unrivalled business location in the city, this is the heart of all the wheeling and dealing that makes the city one of the absolute business centres of the world. By living in the CBD area you will not only be right at the heart of business, but also within striking distance of both Sanlitun and the historic center of Beijing around Tiananmen square by subway lines 10 and 1.

For the connoisseur who understand real luxury and needs to be right at the core of business, I strongly recommend the brand new Xanadu complex of luxury high end apartments right next to the iconic CCTV building.

Chaoyang Park Area

This area is very much worth considering if you want to combine being near to the pulsating downtown areas of Sanlitun and CBD as well as only a stones throw away from the vast green expanse of Chaoyang Park. The Chaoyang Park West Gate area is a great place to live not only because of its vicinity to greenery but also because of the wide selection of international and Chinese cuisine as well as a great nightlife.

For a life with the largest park in Asia at your doorstep my recommendation goes for Park Avenue.
