A bona fide nightlife institution, this Spanish party bar offers something for everyone. Beijing’s nightlife scene wouldn’t be the same without its unparalleled rooftop, innovative cocktail menu (with some of the heftiest pours in town) and strong music programming.

There’s always something happening, from salsa Mondays and Ping-Pong Wednesdays to a great line-up of local and international DJs through the weekends, courtesy of music director Nic Shepherd (aka DJ Boflex). It’s the sort of place you can come for a quiet drink or party till sunrise.

 Jing A Brewing Taproom

The space is gorgeous, intimate and familiar in all the right, if not particularly inventive, ways. Burnished metal, drop lighting and bare bulbs, exposed brick, old pipes... you get the gist. The space is gorgeous, intimate and familiar in all the right, if not particularly inventive, ways. The beers can be hit or miss, but there’s something for everyone

Miles Rong Bar

Rong Bar – a new project from the same team behind Revolution,Hidden House, Miles and Ming Bar – is an expansion of the group’s successful formula of small, vaguely speakeasy-themed cocktail bars. Anyone familiar with the family of bars by the eponymous Mr Ming will recognize the hallmarks: grey brick, cast iron fixtures, dark hardwood and leather upholstery.

Its scale sets Rong apart from the rank and file. The split-level interior bar is flanked by French doors that open out onto a large rooftop terrace, with a long high-topped bar running the length of the opposing wall. Booths and tables are in ample supply; illuminated glass bottles of spirits emit a soft welcoming shade of brownish green from behind the bar.A bona fide nightlife institution, this Spanish party bar offers something for everyone.
