Two new bullet trains have been included on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. This line is well-known for being the nations busiest high-speed link, carrying around 505,000 passengers each day.
Named “Rejuvenation” the new trains were developed based on China’s railway standards and technologies and have been designed to be better adapted to China’s environment and rail transportation patterns.
Even though their maximum speed is 400 km/h, the trains will travel at a speed of about 350 km/h according to sources.
China now operates 124,000km of rail lines, including over 22,000km of high-speed links.
